FSC®

FSC®, Forest Stewardship Council®, certification is an international certification system which guarantees that the raw material used to make a timber or paper product comes from forests that comply with strict environmental, social and financial standards.

In addition to the certification of forest management, the FSC also provides certification for companies which use certified material throughout all stages of processing; this is called Chain of Custody certification and enables companies to process and sell their products under the FSC label.

Certification of the chain of custody ensures that products such as paper actually come from certified forests.

Certified products can be supplied at the customer’s request.

SA8000

The standard SA8000 is an international standard setting out the requirements for correct ethical conduct by companies and the manufacturing sector towards workers. The standard ensures compliance with requirements focused on increasing the competitiveness of the organisation which voluntarily provides a guarantee of the ethical conduct of its manufacturing sector and its own production cycle.

The adoption of an ethical management model is thus an opportunity for the company to demonstrate to the outside world, through the drawing up of an Ethical Code, those qualities of respect and fairness on which our daily work has always been based.

The route to adopting such a model fits well with the systems already implemented by our company in the recent past, such as ISO 9000, and will guarantee:

  • respect for human rights;
  • respect for workers’ rights;
  • protection against child exploitation;
  • guarantees of workplace health and safety.
