CENTRALCARTA SUPPORTS THE PLAY THERAPY PROJECT AT THE MEYER PAEDIATRIC HOSPITAL IN FLORENCE

Centralcarta is supporting Florence’s Meyer Paediatric Hospital Foundation: in particular we have provided support to the Play Therapy project because, like the Meyer, we believe that a child must always have the right to be a child before being a patient.

Through the Play Therapy project, the Meyer paediatric hospital is committed to going beyond excellence in treatment in order to ensure that children admitted to hospital do not miss out on the support provided by the light-heartedness of play, a cuddle with a four-legged friend, the pleasure of relaxing to music, the laughter of a clown or the healthy outdoor tending of a garden.

With this aim, the Meyer Paediatric Hospital’s Play Therapy project, to which we have contributed, comprises five activities essential for children’s treatment and recovery: Books and Play; Pet Therapy; Music in Hospital; Clowns in the Ward and the Garden.
